Dear sick joe:

lately i been doing some researches of the game Hunter the Reckoning and i been studying your art doing myself some questions i would like to know. this questions are not related to draws or anything, are more about opinion and i would like you to answer soon as posible.

First: What really is a monster acording you?
Second:what bring us fear and horror about them?
Third:when a monster stop beeing human and when it becomes or embraces its true nature.
Fourth: What inspired you for your drawings?

1: i think anything that lies in opposition to humanity and being humane could very well be a monster. hell a human being that lacks humanity could be considered a monster...physical appearance doesn't always make a monster.

2: people and all animals in general fear the unknown. why are sharks so scary to some, or spiders? predatory beings in general seem to draw upon some deep seeded instinctual fear that for the most part we can't fully explain.

3: everyone has a dark side and dark impulses it's when we choose to act on those impulses that can become monsters...murder, addiction, abuse and such impulses are merely thoughts put into action. 1 is acceptable the other is not.

4: a lot of times i just sit down and start doodling and go from there other times i just think of a general concept like "leeches" for instance and go from there.
